Oregon REIA member, Marcos Bodart, experienced real estate broker and real estate investor.
Marcos looks forward to sharing about how one can utilize FHA loans to purchase multi-family properties, from 2 to 4 units. FHA only requires 3.5% down payment, even on duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes. On a conventional loan, the down payment requirement for a triplex or a fourplex is 25%! There are pitfalls and things to look out for, and Marcos will go over the guidelines. We think this knowledge could be very beneficial to Oregon Real Estate Investors!
Secondly, Marcos will talk about how an investor can buy a property to fix and flip for profit, or fix, flip, renovate, rent and repeat for passive income with little to no money down. Marcos has bought 4 fix and fix properties without any of my own money down, using a combination of hard money and seller subordinate financing. And if the deal makes sense, you can also finance the rehab costs by having the funds set aside in an escrow impound account. Marcos again looks forward to sharing his knowledge and experience on how he has done this, and how anyone can do it!
