City council meets at least 3 times per month, and during those meetings are when the council votes on changes in their power. Recent decisions that affect real estate value and neighborhoods are:
the allowance of more than 400 high-end single family residences and apartment units to be built in north Eugene off of Delta Highway,
50 low-income apartment units in downtown Eugene,
and 22 low-income apartment units in the Santa Clara area of Eugene.
